First Baptist Church Community Ministries
Support groups sponsored by First Baptist Community Ministries are designed to equip individuals and/or families to cope with painful life situations in Christ-centered, safe, confidential environment. Dementia-Alzheimer's Support Group, the Caregiver's Support Group and Narcotics Anonymous are among the continuing support groups. The facilitators are trained or professional therapists who volunteer their time and expertise.

Frazer Methodist Church Caregivers Support Group


  • Support Groups: are offered for those affected by Breast Cancer, MDA/ALS, Sjogren’s, and Alzheimer’s, with opportunities to share experiences and receive encouragement from those who are going through similar journeys. See Connections for current schedule.
  • Dementia Daycare: provides a time of respite for the caregiver of a family member who is suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia. We provide a loving, safe place for individuals to come and enjoy a time of fellowship and appropriate group activities. Free of charge and open to the community.   • Handicapable Ministry: provides mentors to assist physically challenged persons to better use their gifts and abilities as servants for Christ.
