Remember, it is not always the right thing to have your parents or older special needs child at home but it is required in the Bible that we be concerned for their well-being.
1 Timothy 5:8 "But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever".
